Our facility Services

At Sandhills Pet Boarding, we realize that life is a whole lot easier if schedules are flexible.  Just give us a call at 701-645-9088 or 701-361-8566 to arrange a drop off and pickup time.  We have flexible drop and pickup times because we realize that no one schedule fits all our needs.  We are here, whether it is in the horse barn, kennel, or working in the yard.  A quick call lets me know you are near so we can help you.

Our entire family helps in the kennel, and during the day we spend time with your pet in the morning, afternoon, and evening.  We feed, clean and have play time in the arena.  When dogs match in size and friendliness, and with your approval, we allow them to play together.  Depending upon the dog and which child is helping, sometimes we have a circus in action or a ball game!

Our kennel was built after visiting with many dog owners who knew what they needed in a kennel.  We divided the seventeen individual suites into three rooms each holding five and six suites.  This ensures a calmer, quieter environment.  Each room has heat circulating in the floor and ventilation/AC near the ceiling.  We have lights set on timers and sky lights to allow for natural lighting.  Each suite is equivalent to 80 sq. feet.  The inside area has solid walls creating privacy between each dog.  A doggie door allows them another choice with an area that is not climate controlled, and the fencing allows the dogs to interact with each other if they choose.  One room has large dog doors to accommodate the larger breeds.

Please bring the food that your dog is used to eating.  You may also bring a special blanket or something special that is familiar to your dog.  This helps provide comfort in an unfamiliar place.

Medicine: we will administer pills for $2.00/day and shots for $5.00/day.
